Becoming Truly Human — The Transforming Power of Knowing God

Knowing God is not religion; it is relationship that changes everything.

When you draw near to Him through prayer, Scripture, and quiet listening, His character reshapes your heart. You become kinder without keeping score, quicker to forgive when wounds are fresh, and more patient in daily frustrations. Peace replaces frantic striving. Humility replaces the need to be first. Empathy grows so you can enter someone else’s pain and carry it with them. This is transformation, not perfection.

These changes are practical and simple: offer a gentle word instead of a sharp retort, choose to forgive even when it costs you, sit with someone who is hurting and listen without rushing to fix, serve quietly where there’s no applause. Small acts, repeated, form a life that shows the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self‑control.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self‑control.” — Galatians 5:22–23

The gift of knowing God is grace and responsibility—use it to heal, restore, and bring light into dark places. Let your life be the quiet sermon others need to hear.

A prayer to pray together:

Dear Lord,

I want to know you more. Change my heart—make me kinder, quicker to forgive, and filled with your peace. Teach me humility, open my eyes to the hurting, and give me hands ready to help. Make my small, daily choices reflect your love. Fill me with your Spirit and make me truly human as you intended. In Jesus mighty name, Amen.
