Scripture for Today
“He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.”

Brothers and Sisters,
September is a month of change. The days grow shorter, the air turns crisp, and the green leaves begin to blush with gold and crimson. For many of us, September feels like a second New Year—a time for fresh routines, new school years, and renewed focus. But change can also feel uncertain. what will this season bring? Will I be ready?
God’s Word gently reminds us: He makes everything beautiful in its time. Not our time. His time. The same God who paints the autumn sky with fiery sunsets is the One who is carefully weaving every detail of your life. The job you’re waiting for, the healing you’re praying for, the relationship you’re hoping to mend—none of it is late. It is all being made beautiful right on schedule.
You don’t have to rush ahead or fear the unknown. Just like the trees don’t struggle to let go of their leaves, you can trust God with what is ending and what is beginning. He sees the whole picture—from beginning to end—and He is working all things for your good.
So, this September, take a deep breath. Step into this new season with a quiet heart. God is with you. He is faithful. And He will make everything beautiful in its time.
A Prayer for September
Father, thank You for this new season. Help me trust Your timing when I want to hurry or worry. Teach me to rest in Your love, knowing that You are making everything beautiful in my life. Give me courage for the changes ahead and peace for the things I cannot see. I place this month in Your hands. In Jesus’ precious name, Amen.
Your Step for Today
Take a walk outside and notice one small sign of autumn—a falling leaf, a cooler breeze, a change in the light. Let it remind you that God is always at work, gently turning the pages of your story. He is not finished with you yet.
