Brothers and sisters,
Pause with me for a moment and consider the state of your heart. How often do we rush from task to task, chasing the next goal, the next need, believing that more will finally make us whole? Today I want to speak a simple truth: true abundance begins not with more in our hands, but with more thanks in our hearts. Listen as I remind you that gratitude is a practice that changes everything.
Turn your attention inward. Hear the quiet voice that names the small gifts you usually miss—the breath you took a moment ago, the hands that help you, the food on your table. Let that voice grow louder and guide you into a deeper way of living.
When you stop striving and truly give thanks for what you already have, your heart opens. Gratitude turns your focus from lack to plenty, and that simple shift creates room for more blessings. The universe — and God — meet a thankful heart with peace and provision. Practice seeing each small gift: a morning cup of coffee, a helping hand, a quiet moment of rest. Each one is a sign of abundance.
Make gratitude a daily habit. Start or end your day by naming three things you’re thankful for. As you do, you will notice kindness growing in you and around you. A thankful heart leads to generosity: when you feel blessed, you give more freely of time, love, and resources. Giving blesses both the receiver and the giver, and it keeps the flow of abundance alive.
Hold onto this promise: “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” (1 Thessalonians 5:18). Let that verse guide you—thankfulness is not just a feeling but a choice that opens doors to peace and more blessings.
