Psalm 100:4 — ” Enter his gates with Thanksgiving. And his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name.”
There’s a front porch in my mind where life slows down — the screen door squeaks, the coffee’s warm, and the day looks kinder. Thankfulness isn’t fancy. It’s noticing the little things: a hot meal, a friend who calls, a roof that keeps the rain out. When we say thank you to God for those small things, it’s like stepping onto that porch and sitting a spell with Him. Praise and thanks help us remember we’re not doing life alone.
Let’s thank God for one simple thing right now — out loud if you can. Lord, thank you for this gift of today; help me keep a thankful heart. In Jesus mighty name, Amen.
